Since EA has been pretty successful at predicting the success of NFL teams (with some exceptions), I figured this was pretty interesting.
Notice the decline of Matt Hasselbeck, his overall rating in each Madden NFL respectively:
Madden 07: 93
Madden 08: 92
Madden 09: 91
Madden 10: 84
Madden 11: 79
I think this is a pretty accurate scale of his ability. He definitely reached the height of his prime during his Superbowl appearance. Since 2007 he's gone down hill, and fast. This could be his last season, unless he has a major turn around.. Anyway, the rest of the team's overall rating, below.

We don't have a single player with a 90+ overall. Do you think these look fair? One thing I noticed was David Hawthorne's rating. Last year he was a 60 overall, this year he's 80. This shows me that EA has done a decent job in adjusting player attributes.
