Fail Mary, missed call, some other team didn't win because of a missed call. Boo Hoo, seems to me if Atlanta really wants to whine about this they shouldn't have let Seattle back into the lead.
We have experienced the refereeing travesty that was XL, Vinnie's helmet, and many other atrocious refereeing screw-ups. We've as Seahawks fans have experienced much worse than this when it really counted. However, the national media doesn't want to acknowledge that it was a smart play by Sherman who used the referees position to repay Jones for the blatant face mask non-call on the same play. Seattle has more dodgy calls and dubious spots made against them than any other team in the league, this goes into the 'so what' column.
The scoreboard shows a Seahawks W, all the media BS detracts from that reality, and ignores the fact that Seattle was down three key defensive players, yet still found a way to shut down Atlanta in the 4th Q. Sherman's tip to Thomas was a beautiful thing.
I'll take the W and call whatever on the national media rubbish.
