Great point, but you know this is dot negative. No matter how they win, plenty will downplay it.
Just get the W, couldn't care less what the score is or how it looks.

Ditto!

I think this game comes down to which Schotty shows up.
If “bad Schotty” shows up Hawks lose.
If “good Schotty” shows up Hawks likely win.

Cannot afford to have a bad or lazy game plan.
Cannot afford to “wait and feel out” what the opposing defense is going to do.
Cannot afford to stick with a game plan that isn’t working.
Cannot afford to take forever to make adjustments and not have a plan B.

It's not all on Schotty... Russ has options on every play so Russ has to make good decisions and be able to get the ball to the open guys whether or not it's a big play or not... that's key IMO...

Of course it’s not ALL on Schotty but a lot of it is.
Many times since he’s been here he has hamstrung this offense with a poor game planning and play calling.
The OC has a bigger effect on the game outcome than most want to admit.

....and yes, I’d wish Russ would check out of crappy play calls more.

On the flip side Schotty has also called some great games, see the first 5 weeks for exhibit A, so my general point still stands.

I would also say PC, we know several games in the last few he admitted to wanting more chunk plays, that adds into Wilson waiting for chuck plays and even ignoring some open plays.

There is or was a lot of going on that changed from games 1-5 and then 6 till last week, which while better still was not the same.

Let’s hope so, and let’s hope he shines.

Seahawks have played a lot of good DLs this season so far (I'm talking about DL not overall defense) - Bills, Falcons, Cowboys, Eagles, Giants, Rams, 49ers, and Vikings (before Ngakoue was traded). Hopefully that experience helps them facing the WFT. They overlooked the Giants, plain and simple. I believe they have learned their lesson from that. We'll see on Sunday.

Those D lineman start getting fast and nasty all Russ has to do is get the ball to penny in the flat and its going to be a big play...i think Penny and Carson should have big roles in this game...it will be intetesting to see if Penny is on a snap count or how many snaps he gets because of Hyde and Carson..
