Seems like Washington could have just told him to stay home this week, let things quiet down a bit and then trade him for a late round pick in the off season. It's not like we're in week 7.

Also too, they wouldn't have gotten anything for him anyway as his cap hits would be too high. He cleared waivers, nobody wanted him at those numbers. He is a league minimum QB right now, if he can find a job.

Yeah i get there trying to build a culture but why not cut him before last weeks game? Not saying they would have been able to trade him but if they took on all the salary someone might have took the bait.
