It would be great if someone could create a .NET signiture that was our header with something saying we got Wilsoned or Seperated by Preperation.

I think a board wager is actually a cool idea. Although if the stipulation of our losing is that .NET has to change to Panthers colors (for a week) then the reverse should also be true. It would be cool to see a panthers board forced into wearing our colors. Especially the green.
This is a very good idea. It's fair and is funny in a harmless way.

If you read the thread, I had a back and forth with Zod, the owner. He's... well... not what you would expect from an owner of such a large, well visited forum. He obviously doesn't like "intruders" at his site. I made an avatar bet with a guy over there where if we win, he has to sport my bird-eye avatar for a week, and if we lose, I'm gonna have a lame-ass Panther avatar for a week, so don't ask, ok? lol There are other posters that will take your head-to-head bets if you are so inclined. Just post your bet in the link at the top of this thread.

I concur.

If they win they get to keep Cam Newton. If we win we get to keep Russell Wilson.

I don't want to see our forum in Carolina colors or a bunch of Panther avatars on the chance we might lose. Not worth it.

You must be a hoot in Vegas! :p :D

I always thought it was kinda funny when we had to do that in the past. Kinda gave me a chuckle after a loss.

In Vegas I win something. What do I care if they turn their forum Seahawks colors? After we dispose of them they are just another vanquished opponent and their forum becomes irrelevant. (or even more irrelevant then it already is)

If you want to have a meaningful forum bet wait til next week and say that if the Seahawks win no 49er fans are allowed on our forum until the next time they beat us.

So as fun as this sounds, I have 2 things keeping me from making the bet;

1 - I have no idea how "easy" it is to change the color scheme, but I'm guessing it isn't a quick 5 minute change (webmaster would need to validate)
2 - In looking at their forum, it's about as vanilla & boring as anything I've ever seen, so I don't feel it's an even bet.

I'm completely open to something more simple since I'm so confident in a win....

The one who calls himself 'FUD', says that if they win, he'd come over and post some "gay porn" of himself on .NET, and if they lose, he would again come over here and post more "gay porn" of himself here on .NET.
Sounds like he's really into that sort of stuff, NOW, if FUD is a pretty young chick, I'd say we go for it :179417: , otherwise if it's a dude?, oh hell no. :17:

So maybe talk to "ZOD" over there. The avatar thing was fun in years past...

These kinds of bets are stupid outside the division. Once the game is over, we'll have moved on to our next opponent and not look back...

(Ok, some will go back just to check out their misery...)

I didn't even know they had their own website, why the f#&! would I care if they banned some dude I've never even heard of? If you take the bet, somebody we never knew existed goes away... thats like telling me a tree falling in the middle of the forest, with no one around to hear it, actually makes noise. Who cares? The Seahawks ain't losin.

Seahawks.Net was so far ahead of the curve as far as design and schemes, not just this current version but going all the way back and what he was doing before Fanstop and during the Fanstop days. Aros was very much a visionary, if you look even now what we have here is so much more dynamic and edge cutting compared to a lot of others.

We have been truly spoiled rotton by or Web designers here.

Now that is something I could get behind.

You could have phrased your support for JS's idea a bit differently, after all your talking about 49ers here.

That forum reminds me of the old AOL message boards back in 1996. Who cares what they do? They should be embarrassed they even belong to that forum and root for such a second-rate garbage NFL "franchise".

Their attempts to smack Seahawks.net is like Jocelyn Wildenstein making fun of Jennifer Aniston's nose job.
