Can someone cite where a first ballot HOF QB was traded in his prime and the team went on to be incredibly successful? Anyone?

49ers with Montana and Young?

Montana was not in his prime.

Perhaps Moon should be careful with the ladies so allegations of sexual assault aren't made against him.

Frankly this to me is more click bait.

Free agency has slowed down so we are now back to speculation and unsubstantiated rumour.

Youi really should stop being so negative.

Moon has had issues, he is trying to get back in good graces and more main stream stories in the NFL, he screwed up again.

This is Liar's poker time in the NFL, teams are leaking false information hoping people will jump in and sway other teams strategy on stuff.

Would be Journalists eat this stuff up, they have very few resources and basically steal stuff from other places and call it their own.

Wilsons Agent is a Baseball guy, his only NFL client is Wilson, he uses the MLB Agent technique to leverage things, Media, all the to New York Stories came from him each contract, the switching to Baseball story came from him.

What Wilson really thinks is different each time afterwards as we found out.

Brady wasn't traded, he was a free agent. And New England went 7-9 without him.

Aren’t y’all tired yet?

OMG, the back and forth bla bla bla is exhausting.
It’s the same thing over and over again.

Wilson will be traded because....
Wilson won’t be traded because....

It’s almost funny at this point.

ahh So how has Wilson's story changed? he said in the initial interview that started it all he wanted to stay in Seattle and has not changed that stance at all.

Dude, chill. His Wilson comment was more about how the media likes to infer where nothing is said.

Thanks I said Wilson in my post so John63 had to throw support like he was being attacked, because that's what John63 does, he does not stop, that's what he is programmed to do, he will continue till Wilson is Dead or becomes a real life Bobble head.

John, enough. You're just spewing the same stuff over and over again. You have your opinion, others have theirs.
It's beyond old. You have NO control over any of this, breathe in, have a Snickers bar and move on. Nobody is going to budge, you're wasting your energy. I'll say it yet again, BOTH sides have handled this poorly. Big deal. He's coming back in 2021. You don't need to post 798 threads saying "see, he's staying"
Many of us already thought he was staying, others don't. And??
Just sayin :irishdrinkers:

Mark Rogers is no doubt difficult. The Athletic article also threw a large portion of the blame to CAA, the LA talent agency that manages both Russ and Ciara. The first allegation was that CAA wants the couple in a bigger media market (hence the cities on the trade list). The second was that CAA wanted to shift the narrative from Russ struggling in the second half of the season to Russ not getting enough help in the second half of the season for marketing reasons.

Wilson had a 93 Qb rating the 2nd half of the season that is not struggling, Not as good as first half but far from struggling

A passer rating of 93 in today's NFL is struggling. The 20th highest Passer rating last year was 93.5 which was Trubiski. Matt Ryan at 93.3 was 21st.

What's the divorce rate in the NFL of players playing their entire careers with the same team, like 90%?

So it's no shock that an ex-player like Moon has this opinion, that eventually Russell will move on. Even the best QB's in history with all the success moved on. Favre, Brady, Brees, Manning......they all went to new teams.

Now will it be next year? Five years? Who knows, but yes eventually Russell Carrington Wilson will be playing with a different uniform on.

I really don't think you want to be making an argument about QB rating here which is a very flawed stat. A 93 QB rating over a season would slot him in as the 22nd best QB last season, right behind Matt Ryan 93.3 QB rating. Do you think Russ is the 22nd best QB in the NFL? Arguing that is Russ playing fine by his standards is far more critical of him than anything other people post on this forum.

and yet anything over 90 is considered good adn 85 avg. Also let me remind you the Qb rating of those2 are their whole season Qb rating so to compare a whole season to part of a season is disingenuous. Wilson whole season QB rating is 105.

To give it more credence the supposed goat, Brady had a qb rating of 102 for the season, but he had a stretch of 8 games were his Qb rating was 85.

So while I agree Wilson was not as good in the 2nd 8 as the first 8 he was far from struggled. Again and to go even further
3tds to 1 int is far from struggling, completing over 665% of your passes is far from struggling,

Again you want to say he did not play as well as first 8 I agree but to say he struggled would be wrong.

Struggling would be qb rating for that span under 85, td/int of 1/1 or worse. Your definition of struggling is not accurate

Example What Kyler Murray did the last 8 games Qb rating of 82, 10ts/5 ints, that is struggling

Again you want to say he did not play as well as first 8
