Jordon Lolohea http://247sports.com/Player/Jordan-Lolohea-93543 DE out of Utah just committed to UW.

He's an LDS kid and will be taking his mission so won't show up for a couple years and these guys sometimes flip, but this is a good get regardless.

His father recently passed away, so things got a little emotional at his announcement this morning. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iWZy6B3FU50
That rule changed a few years ago. He signs his LOI, he's locked into UW. Real good pickup for the dawgs

Oregon's going to finish about where I thought they would. Not bad considering that Taggart had less than two months until NSD and key assistants hired only weeks ago. Expecting anything more was always unrealistic.

I saw that the experts once again didn't get it right in predicting some top recruits to Oregon. This is exactly why you don't pay for subscription sites as it's ALLLLL guessing. That and most of the "insider" information makes its way over to the free sites anyways.

He's just trying to find a school that would admit him. When college acceptance is in doubt, WSU will always come through in the end.

And there it is, coming off our worst season in 23 years, and UW off their best in 16 years. And UO still out recruited UW.

So ducks class finishes ranked 20th. Washington at 22. Uw did have the higher average per player though.

Overall I'm pretty happy with the ducks class. Big miss at tight end but we've landed several big time contributors. Excited to see what Taggart and staff can do with a full year to recruit

Yeah but USC has the best QB in the PAC 12 now in Sam Darnold.

They're looking pretty damn scary and Kiffin/Sark aren't there to screw it up.

The Ducks need all the help they can get....they need to make up a 49 point deficit that's left over from the most recent game against the Huskies.

Oregon had 24 commits and Washington had 18

If someone was really bored they could cut off the 6 lowest ranked recruits for Oregon and figure out the new average. Obviously the lower ranked recruits bring Oregon's average down.

That said it really doesn't matter. Oregon loaded up on top ranked defensive talent and UW loaded up on top ranked offensive talent. I think the contrast is kind of interesting actually.
