The look on Gilberts face in the dugout: "Yeah some runs would be nice for this group of pitchers we got". All this young pitching is going to be pissed away just like they pissed away Felix's career.

It's getting to the point where I'm actually hoping Julio just strikes out when there's runners on base. He's a double play machine lately. Just brutal.

Julio at bat is becoming a liability. That double play
Ball he is hitting is killing us. He plays such great
Defense too.

Problem is, there's NOBODY to mentor a still young Julio when he's slumping. The coaching staff is full of nobodies (hitting coaches are literal who's?) and no veteran leader players on the team this year. Ownership paid Julio and now are sitting back doing nothing besides watching the team waste another year of good pitching.

The pit
John Stanton’s cheapness in the off-season FA market likely cost them this game. 2 more quality bats in the lineup would likely of helped things out tonight.

Yeah....It's got to be something with the hitting coaches...or lack thereof.

Ouch

not much else can be said. These guys excel at leaving guys on guys. Painful to watch.
It's moments like these that I'm VERY glad that I took SH's advice and put some people on ignore. Aaaaaaahhhhhh

Goldsmith put Servais on the spot and straight up asked him about the offense and Servais said: "Thats the art of baseball trying to figure this out".
