What are we on pace for this year, 30 or so? It hasn't been as good as it likely will get... (holding out hope).

Looks like 30 -35 sacks at the present rate . The Hawks have played against some weak OLines besides . Clowney and Ansah were supposed to jack up the sack stat . Not so much . When Reed returns ; I hope they sit Ansah.

Problem with playing weak OL's is that they generally know they are weak and game plan for that by playing the short passing and screen game. Especially with a team like ours that doesn't play much man coverage and defends the deep ball like it's the plague.
Hard to get home when teams are dinking and dunking you to death.

Reed coming back is going to help a lot. Clowney is being double teamed more than anyone else in the league.

Clowney is disruptive and draws extra attention ; but that should help another lineman get to the QB. Clowney getting double teamed . should be in the Hawks favor .

Why woud you want them to sit Ansah and why would they?

The guy missed a lot of time, sitting him would be detrimental to him getting back to the player he was. Not to mention, hasn't the thought been that Ansah, Clowney, and Reed together will be a disruptive force?

Am I missing something in the premise here? I thought that they played different positions.
