How fantastic did the D Line look yesterday? Some great contributions from the line, # of tackles noted below.
Rubin (2), Jordan Hill (2), Mebane (1), Clark (1), Bennett (1 + 0.5 sack), Avril (1 tackle + 1.5 sacks) just stuffed Arizona all day.
I've been down on our DLine interior pressure this year and the guys really stepped up and played big kid football in the trenches yesterday. Palmer is slippery in the pocket, gets a step here or there to avoid the sack, but seemed to be pressured all day.
Great stuff, and I hope this continues because I feel it's a key indicator of winning. Getting home with 4 guys takes pressure off the back end and helps to lead to INT's (3 yesterday).
