Green Bay is a WCO team too, and they badly wanted Lynch the year he came out. JS was Thompson's right hand man that year and later spoke about it after he dealt for Lynch.

I think we could see passes to both Marshawn and Turbo, depending on the flow of the game.

Lockette also had some good plays against Green Bay, and I would love to see us use him a bit more in this game as a vertical threat--even if it's just a couple throwaways to keep the Pats' D honest.

Lined up out wide in an "Empty" set: please NO

Motioning Lynch wide is often Russell's call, and it can help him to identify whether the defense is in zone or man based on the personnel that lines up across from Lynch. Even if Lynch is not the target on this play, it can help Russell determine his pre-snap reads.

I think Russell has been more successful out of empty this year than years past, but I don't know the actual numbers. I know several of our biggest plays this year have come out of that formation.
