It looks like we may be making some substantial scheme changes.

Bradford and Olu Olu do not fit the mold of zone blockers, but look like ideal gap/power run blockers. Everything I've read shows weakness in agility and lateral ability which are key in the McVay type zone blocking scheme the Seahawks have been using.. Lack of lateral ability is also correlated with weaker pass blocking, especially against twists/stunts, but these guys have huge potential in a gap scheme as they are explosive and powerful.

On the DL we're seeing quite a few tweeners between typical 3-4/4-3 prototypes. We have 3-4 DEs that are light/quick/long enough, and EDGES that are heavy/strong enough, to possibly play 4-3 DE.

It's exciting to think that PC may be actually leading and encouraging major changes on both sides of the ball. I would love to see a repeat of his early years where he changed the way the game was played with innovative schemes on both sides of the ball.

2023 may be the most interesting year for Seahawks football since 2014.
