Hope this puts the old and slow to bed, he does look slimmer, maybe it was a redistribution off season for his body, you can look at him and his face is less chubby also.

This is a lot more like the Wilson we saw in the 2013/2014 seasons, we have not seen this Wilson aspect for a long time, spin moves, running with intent, running with speed.

Credit him for playing with purpose today.

Kudos to Shane W and RW for battling back after the early pressure.

We’ve seen these kind of games go off the rails for the offense once Wilson gets happy feet.

They were able to run the ball and get RW outside of the numbers to give him the option to throw or run.

Regardless of how this season goes it also feels good to beat the 49ers at their field.

Does seem faster this year. After the offense looked like they were in a coma for 5 drives, they def. got it rollin. Still a ton of work to do on both sides of the ball, no doubt about that. But that W was massive, season changer really.

Fast quick slim RW is a lot better than potato with legs Wilson. He looked great. Unleash that against Minny and Tenn and it could be different story/record right now.

Thankfully he hasn't lost that Houdini act. Understandable why he doesn't want to run as much as he did years ago, but sometimes it's the best option -- maybe even the only option.

That was definitely flashes of vintage Russ we saw yesterday. It was refreshing to see. I was shocked at his speed on the running TD! I can't recall the last time I saw him look that quick on a run. That other pirouette move and TD strike to Swain was also vintage Russ. Hopefully it's just the start of things to come this season.
