It was the right decision. Jeez, he's got a super bowl ring, a catch in the SB and
the best wishes and thanks of the 12's. That's more than most players get.

Didn't you enjoy his little "i'm clean" brush down when he made a catch?

I've had the chance to talk with his father a couple of times, not just small talk.
Mr. Lockette impressed me when he gave up his spot in the reception line on field for the MNF Lions game. Saw us coming, stepped back and said "y'all get up here, I get to do this all the time".
What little I got to see up close of Ricardo, I'd say that he was humble, and see that it was a handed down trait.
Sad that Ricardo has to give it up but happy that he's "walking" away.

I'm happy that he still has his health but him not able to fully turn his neck makes me sad as hell.

Hope they find a way to keep him around. I wasn't a big Lockette fan during his first stint in Seattle. Loved what he did on the field as a gunner. If he can help the team (and it helps him in any way), I'd be all for it.

Dude was more than a gunner and should be remembered for more than 49....

"Sorry coach for those times I was late, it won't happen again."

That's pretty funny.

He was well spoken and I believe many of us fans underestimated his importance to the team and how other players and coaches and personnel felt about him. I wish him well and hope he gets to celebrate another Seahawks championship - as a fan - soon.
