OP - would it be a fair summary to say that what you tried to express is the following
You are a fan, you followed them through hard times and will keep following them. You just won't get as emotionally invested and mainly because you have a level of being contempt. You saw the succes and ultimate goal fulfilled and being there you know that nothing will ever top it so everything else calms down. Of course then as they win more or less you watch more or less but never will it be as much as it was
