Browner said it himself after the game, we were playing mostly zone the first half and it was way too soft. We started running a lot more man coverage second half and blanked the Texans the rest of the way. We also made it a point to play almost exclusively man coverage against the Jags and we dominated (until the backups started playing a ton).

Our DB's are built for an aggressive man coverage scheme, I'm really hoping Pete and Quinn play more to that strength next week. With Bruce coming back vs. Indy (can you say NASCAR package?), we have the chance to make Mr. Luck VERY uncomfortable in that pocket, I don't want to see him survive the pressure by shredding a weak zone like Schaub did today.

Yep, this team has the personnel to play man coverage most of the time. Need to go with your strength IMHO. Decent to good QB's will pick apart zones if they are given any time to throw the ball.

Sherm got his pick-six off of a zone blitz, but otherwise, yeah. If we are going to play zone, it had better be to send extra pressure.

Yep, although that play was not typical as it was designed for Sherman to jump the route (they talked about it post game). Kam blitzed and Sherman rolled behind anticipating the route, with Earl disguising over the top just in case.
