I for one, welcome the new tradition, started a few weeks back in the 49ers game.

A lumbering journeyman takes things into their own hands, and picks up a fumbled ball and attempts to run it into the house.

In the inaugural instance, Ifedi was not successful in picking up the glory of an endzone run, but in any case, E for effort.

This week's laurels go to one Quinton Jefferson, the 291 pound defensive end. Not for lack of effort for trying, but he too came up short of the goal line with his rush, down by contact before the ball popped out.

I'm genuinely excited for next week and next man up.

I think they were inspired by the Clowney scoop and score you forgot. I am all for it as long as they hold onto the ball at all costs. :2thumbs:

Go Hawks!!!

Ifedi could have cost us the game by trying to do too much instead of falling down on the ball.

Jefferson nearly negated what was a great play with a head-scratching lateral that would have given the ball right back.

Outcomes were different on the 2 plays, but the decision making on both was atrocious.
