Did a pretty good search, besides a bunch of "I heard he....." haven't really find anything substantial on the helmet throwing and hitting someone in the face thing.

Of course ProFootballTalk has a bunch of niner trolls playing it up, saying they were right there and saw it all, but the comments on that site are about as believable as bigfoot sightings.

I keep hearing it's a 4-6 week time table on the injury meaning he could be back for our first playoff game after the wild card round.

Speedy recoveries to KJ, as we will need him!

Anymore these days players are coming back from injuries quicker than the estimated time probably due to advancements in procedures and technology. I also read 4-6 weeks and Pete mentioned that he is a quick healer or something like that so hopefully he'll be back in time to get in shape for our first playoff game.

I know it's not really our style of D, but I would like to see some more OLB blitzes if Smith or Schofield are in there. Both have above average speed for a linebacker and Schofield put up decent numbers while he was in Arizona. You think with all the speed at the linebacker position we would see more blitzes. Oh well. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Doubt we will IR him. Carroll knows that he will be valuable for the playoffs. I think he will be back for the NFC CG and Super Bowl.

I"m curious who got the helmet to the face when KJ threw his.

Me too. I can't believe there isn't video of this anywhere.

At this point I'm starting to think that drama queen sideline reporter blew the whole thing out of proportion.
