I have love for every player who helped get us that Superbowl, but i have to admit this doesn't give me the same feeling as Wright's one day contract. I'm happy to see any of our previous players who want to retire as Seahawks. That says a lot about the way they feel about the teammates, the organization and the fans from their time here. If they didn't enjoy that time, they wouldn't want to retire here, they'd just retire.

The right to retire with the team of their choice. It’s just ceremonial.

Say what you will about Cable’s many failures, turning Sweezy into an above average guard with a DL’s meanness was an outstanding move. Hope JR’s back heals enough for a normal life. Thanks Sweezy!
