I would rather trade Russ for draft picks and then go get the best QB in the draft. That does a couple of things. First, it will free up a ton of cap space. Second, as we transition to a new head coach in a year or two there won't be the franchise QB vs. new head coach battle.

New QB would have to prove himself on a team that's dysfunctional.

New OC new system, QB has lousy stats, get a new QB, that's how stuff happens if you're not Brady, Manning, Rapistburger.

Jimmy G or the wsu flavor of the month, aren’t leading us to the playoffs. Might as well just roll with Geno and get the top pick next year and save some $$$$. Or keep Wilson and realize we are a DC away from contention again.

I think Seahawks need more than a DC to be a contender again. Pete wants to roll with
The same style defense as when he had a young LOB with lesser players and our division
Opponents know how to tear us a new ass .

This is a league of adjustments and adaptation. Carroll seems to not see things this way.
Carroll and Schneider built one of the top defenses in league history but weren't able to
Sustain it . Bad personell decisions ( draft and free agency) and here Seattle sits at the
Bottom of the NFC west.
