DK Metcalf registered the fastest 2023 speed for a ball carrier in week 13 on a 73 yard TD pass play from Geno Smith ...... at 22.23
MPH.

First week of the off season. At this point in time, I would think everyone is careful to avoid soft tissue injuries.

Does anyone realize how fast 21.67 mph is for a dude in football PADS? Tyson Gay and 27mph, put him in pads and he's down to the 22's I bet.
21.67 for Geno is absolutely-freakin-amazing and I did see flashes of that when he tucked and ran last season, he outran the DEs to the edge to get out of bounds.

During the season, I think several weeks this would have been the fastest speed for ANY player. I think Ken Walker and DK each had a week or two they were the fastest speed recorded in the league, and I think they were in the 21's.
