Everyone wrote him off, NOW, he is writing back with his performances. Geno is top 10 QB this season, after today's RTG 132.6, 320 yards game, don't be too surprised he is graded top 5.
If Geno was flying under the radar, not anymore, every DC is watch some Geno films. He is playing at a higher level than anyone imagined. Last year he looked average/above average in relief, but he is starting to really come to his own.
Now that the ground game is starting to rev up I think the offense should be more balanced from here out. Passing to set up the run or running to set up the pass depending on each week to week matchup. That is how it should be IMVHO as that is how the modern game works.
...maybe...Geno has played the Falcons and the Lions, two teams that have struggled on defense. Ya'll are anointing him the savior far too soon. Geno Smith is just another guy, he's not going to win you or lose you games.
A lot less 3 and outs with Geno under center?...maybe...
...but he might win the lockeroom... and then maybe you get some team wins.
At the absolute least, he hasn't single-handedly lost any games with 5 consecutive 3 and outs.
a few more 300yards game and Ws, Geno might get attention for MVP or at least comeback player of the year.He is more in the mvp race than the selfish prick that he replaced...

Got link to Geno being ranked at about 20?One game (or even 4) does not make a great QB. Two weeks ago everyone was complaining that Geno hadn't been able to lead the offense to score a single point in 6 quarters. At the start of the season the media ranked Geno as 32nd in starting QBs, after today he might be ranked at about 20. Yes I have been pleasently surprised and while his passser ratig is higher than Rogers, Josh Allan and Brady but I would need a lot more evidence before saying I expect Geno to perform better than those three for the rest of the season.
It seems like the pass protection is better with Geno under center than with Wilson. Interesting.
