That is what he says all the time on his radio show. Folks outside the region think he is a Seahawks fan but he started his career following the Steelers. Though he did cost them a couple of draft picks when he reported some thing the league didn't allow as far as practice or something. Steelers fans held a grudge against him for that.

Just like Sando was a Raiders fan but our fans would think he and John Clayton were Seahawks fans. They both will tell you they don't pull for teams. They get called onto shows by the locals but people who get mad at them for not blowing smoke up the team's butt just don't pay attention.

Nope. He is a die hard Steelers fan, openly admits it all the time. He just covered the Seahawks for many many years for the TNT. If I remember correctly, Mike Sando took over for him when he left.

Yes, not only lives in Seattle but just down the street from Vmac. A guy I work with is his neighbor.
