Makes sense. Foles isn't a speedy QB but he maximizes what mobility he has. With a good running game to take the pressure of the pass rush off the QB, he can do his thing there. I don't think Foles is a great QB currently but I also remember that Alex Smith was once a terrible QB himself. Having a good running game can really help a QB out, and the last time Foles had a good running game, he posted amazing numbers.

Weird that Kansas City did that given the fact that backup quarterback isn't an area of concern in comparison to a couple other position groups in my view.

Starting QB might be an issue though, no? I mean how much longer are they riding 3 yards a cloud of dust to the playoffs? Sooner or later they need to take a chance

Or they wanted to keep Denver from having him. Not that he's very good, but Denver has nothing still. Unless you think butt fumble is a decent qb.

Why did the chiefs put polka dots on their helmets?

Ha! That's just lights reflecting off of his helmet while practicing indoors.

You've ruined it now.
Sorry, I was playing 7 v 7 rugby today against my better judgment. :(

Marshawn should seriously consider unretiring and going for an olympic medal. He would be awesome in rugby.

If he can be had for $2 mil, I say we grab him.
It's got to be a moble guy like Wilson or TJack to run the read option.
