The Niners have had their slump, and I don't see them looking past us. That #1 seed with the first-round bye is like gold, especially considering how many injuries are occurring this season, and they're just one game back of it and they own the tiebreaker over the Eagles. I don't see them letting down.
On the other hand, although we've lost 3 in a row and 4 of the last 5, we're not exactly a runaway train heading for a washed-out bridge, at least not yet. We played an unexpectedly solid game last Thursday and will be coming off a mini bye so we'll have some time to get some of our guys, like K9 and our OL, a little healthier.
The NYT playoff predictor pegs our chances of making the playoffs at 23%. For a lot of us, simply backing into the playoffs as a 7th seed isn't going to float our boats. But it is going to be an interesting stretch run no matter the outcome.

Damn trading away their second rounder and not knowing what you truly have at the moment is bad look for Pete and John. Feels like a move Pete pushes for because he always believes their “so close”
Just a bummer because this is a draft to get a QB of the future and you might of ruined those chances or severely limited them.
