Yep. Deep down, they know.

Its actually more than that. They are simply put lashing out in fear. They're trying to puff themselves up and make themselves seem big, but really they are terrified! Did you ever see what happens to a schoolyard bully, when someone bigger and badder comes along and starts bullying the bully?

Yup this is my favorite too. Are people really that stupid or do you have to work at it ?

Somebody with a troll account over there should respond to this post:

**** the NFC WEST, we got bigger fish to fry! We will win the Super Bowl!

in this thread:
http://www.49erswebzone.com/forum/niner ... -nfc-west/

With something like:
Good to see that you are still optimistic about your chances next week as that is your Super Bowl this season. If, on the other hand, the Seahawks don't win no big deal as it really a zero impact game for us.

next week the 49ers find out that Seattle doesn't just beat them at home.

I'm sorry but the Seahawks are a MUCH better team than the one that played at SF 14 months ago; and I don't think the 49ers can make the same claim. If there hadn't been a case of the dropsies going around for us in that game it would have been a W as the 49ers couldn't do much themselves in that game.

The 49ers are a really good team but, at least for this season, Seattle is clearly better. I'm feeling pretty confident that we keep it rolling and get the win at the 'Stick next week.

Well I just looked at the Seacawks schedule and by my count they haven't won more than 3 games over teams that are either playoff caliber or almost good enough to be in the playoffs. I kind of discount the win over Carolina in week 1 because they were already better than the Panthers at that point and they should've lost. There are other wins are over teams who have 3 victories or less and teams that are mediocre at best. Three or four of those were in "pulling the game out of their ass at the last second" fashion. I know, a win is a win is a win but my point is the wins they have put together are really no more impressive than what the Niners have done so far. In fact overall the common opponents both teams have played, you can make the case that the Niners have beaten most of them way worse than Seadderal did. The got us on Carolina but we have yet to see about New Orleans, Tampa Bay or Atlanta yet. So when people keep saying we haven't beaten anyone, for the most part neither the f**k have they.

And the post of the day is:

I just can't figure out how the Seahawks are 11-1 and considered the top team in the league when:

-On Offense, they only have two top-tier (at this time) playmakers in QB Wilson and RB Lynch
-They don't have a true #1 WR (I don't consider Tate a #1...maybe a #2 or #3 but that's it)
-Their OL is average at best (Okung and Unger bring it to average; otherwise, below average)
-Their TE position has average talent as a whole (Miller is slightly above average, the rest are unknowns/unproven)

-On Defense, their secondary is really the only standout group that's missing two contributors
-Their D-line is above average & has depth but doesn't have a dominant player (like J.J. Watt or Justin Smith) and isn't as good as the Rams front four, for example
-Their linebackers are average with the only standout being Wagner (he's young and still has much to prove)

-For Special Teams, they've got a good punter in Ryan and a decent kicker in Hauschka, but again, nothing great here (Hauschka never misses inside 45 yards but outside of that, nothing special)

Am I missing something - any ideas? Is Wilson just really carrying the offense now with his ability to improvise in running and also just putting the ball up for his WRs to make plays? Is Tom Cable the best O-line coach in football? Is the team just all of a sudden this year getting the best coaching at all positions? I just don't get it and would be curious what others thought about these questions, the above bullet points, etc. I can't wait for this Sunday as the Niners will be ready for them.

I know it's not you E.C. that said that in bold but how does Kaepernick throw for 4 TDs yet the final score is 20-10? :sarcasm_on: 49ers fans....impressive :sarcasm_off:

Props to you guys as I chew crow here all morning and week.
That was truly an impressive display of football all around - 100% believer in RW now as truly an MVP caliber player at his position.
About the only thing to fear would be some type of complacency on your part - as history shows that can happen to anybody.
Hawks be ballin and taking names - I dont think anybody can beat you if you play your game.

Actually I would go one further and call it DREAD. Dread because the Niners know deep down that their window to win a Superbowl has now been slammed forcibly shut by the Seahawks. Last year was their last, best chance to get it done...and even then Seattle at the end of last year was probably the better team.

San Fran from 2008 to 2012 had the better roster, and the most favorable matchups against a division that was still weak (well until last year), but for the first two years of that window, horrid coaching brought them down.

Now all this great talent is getting older, and more importantly more expensive, and now a younger, stronger, BETTER, and cheaper team (and one built from the ground up), is shutting the window....and the knowledgeable Niner fans know this.

My favorite Saints fan quote ---> If I had to guess what the game plan was it was to stop Lynch and make Wilson beat us. Mission accomplished.

I think that used to be the opinion of most opposing DC's, lets sell out to stop Marshawn and make Wilson beat us with his arm....

Yea good plan, you freakin' unleash The Kraken when you do that.

Rob Ryan: There will be no beastquake! You will not beat us with Lynch, and we will blitz your young QB into submission and make him beat us.

Pete Carroll: OK, if you insist......

I think Bevell owns Ryan.

We crushed his Cowboys D 27-7 last year and abused his Saints D this year.
