Last night, Earl Thomas joined lifetime Longhorn and NFL-vet, Rod Babers (@rodb314), Matt Butler (@LonghornBlitz), and Texas Football beat writer for Horns247.com, Jeff Howe (@jeffhowe247), on Longhorn Blitz.
He talked at length about everything he has experienced since the Seahawks won the Super Bowl. Lots of discussion about the gameplan his defense deployed against Peyton Manning. He explains why football is such a mental game and why he and his teammates have been so successful together. He also describes the qualities that make Pete Carroll, Russell Wilson and Dan Quinn so successful. He also explains how he approaches every day with a professional attitude.

Thanks for the interest guys. Earl is a beloved Longhorn. He had to leave school as a sophomore and throughout his career he has proved to be mature well beyond his years. Such a hard worker who became an unbelievable student of the game. If I were an offensive player in the NFL I would be afraid of where Earl's career is headed. He has hit that steep incline of the parabolic curve at an early age and the ceiling may be as high as any player in the NFL.
