Josh Gordon is locked up for this year and 2 more super cheap. We could trade for him and not sign Tate, and cut Rice. Saving money for ET Sherm etc.

Smith was picked up by the Lions, so those of you hoping we'd pick him back up after waivers will be disappointed (not that he's a player worth getting disappointed over).

Ironically, he was picked up after the Lion put Jason Jones on IR. Yeah, the Jones who was here last year who can't stay healthy. Lions love our D-linemen castoffs (Lawrence Jackson, anyone?)

Smith looked like if he could stay healthy, he could be developed but McDonald really looked good the last couple weeks like Mebane 2.0 good. So cool for him, we aren't missing him yet. Surprised San Fran didn't pick him up or Siliga considering the injuries they got going on.

Gordon - Cleveland are even more desperate now as they just got 1 game further away from drafting number 1 next year

In regards to rolling with 52 players. Of course no real issue as you only dress 46 anyways.....

I Like Basis4Days take on the Carroll bit about how he had to reload for USC, also Pete and John so far have a pretty good eye for cheap(Young Talent). Also have successfully taken chances on injured players with big upside
