Fund raising for his gambling debts... Russell made the mistake of betting on SF this week.

listen to the first couple of minutes. apparently russell was at some event charging $3k for him to toss you a pass. was this for charity? i hope so.

the fact that you'd even suggest that he might be pocketing the money from this is the most perplexing thing I've seen on the internet today. And the Internet is like, 99% perplexing things.

Here is an article about an auction for a Russell Wilson pass. I don't know if it is the same event or not, but it's awesome that the guy bought two and gave one to a friend:

It was such a thrill for Steve, he even successfully bid on a second toss from Wilson. In keeping with the spirit of the evening, he gave it to one of his co-worker's, another huge Seahawks fan.

would it be that weird if he kept the money? i found this on amazon yesterday searching for helmets. they were being sold by mill creek sports for $549. I'm not posting this stuff because i have any issues with it, seeing the myriad of ways star athletes have to monetize signatures, personal experiences etc is really crazy and interesting.

That's the thing though. Yours is, too. Now, could you please pass over the check?

At 3k per throw the Hawks should get about 175 passes right?

does he get a do-over if he drops it?

Beat me to it! I'd drop the first 2 so I can pretend we're 3rd and long!

I'd be so clutch.

There was a time that a BredaGroupie would at least pull her shirt up for you. Don't sell yourself short and try denying it. Your fame just came during your teens.

Maybe even for a lock of your hair.
