That's about what I expected. Would really like to get him back in 4 weeks though so he doesn't get too rusty should we also get that first round bye.

Playoffs is better than out for the season. He'll be fired up and ready to tear it up for playoffs. Nice thing about having the bye next week, along with the week off in the playoffs. He should be ready to go for the divisional playoff at the House of Noise.

WT3 is doing a great job in his place.

Look forward to getting him back for the playoff run. Hopefully, our depth can hold up until then.

You definitely want BB available if you're going up against big dudes like Calvin Johnson, Brandon Marshall, Boldin, Fitz, Dez, etc. Glad it's not a season-ender.

Yeah, PC said 4-6 weeks minimum due to significant groin tear and tissue damage.

Would love to have him back for the playoffs- even in rotation. Is there a more physically intimidating CB in the league?

wonder if that includes last week if so one week down - 14 weeks to next one there goes 3 weeks on that.....

then week 13, 14, 15 and back for week 16 -- so add another two weeks for being safe plus maybe it was 4-6 from today

Either way back for the first game in the playoffs...

Damn I wanted to witness BB jamming Boldin into a frenzy of personal fouls. Not that Sherman won't (again) do the same, but Boldin is tailor made for BB. Hopefully we will again get that chance in the playoffs. IF SF qualifies, that is.

Wouldn't be surprised if a team tried to pull a Moffit when trying to sign him this off-season.

Well there is 6 weeks of Regular season and then the first round of playoffs in which we probably wont play. So our first playoff game will prob be 7 or so weeks so he should be back easily by then

groin tears suck, i'd be suprised to see him at all the rest of the year. Even if he could make it back, what kind of football shape would he be in, not like you can do a bunch of cardio? I don't know..

Pete didn't say how long Browner would be out or what they will do with him. He said in the press conference that at a minimum it would be a 4-6 week deal. They should know more by the end of the week. He said there was tissue tearing involved so he was still not sure about the next move.

They worked out Michael Huff (S) and Derrick Cox (CB) last week on a side note.
