This is a great pick I surprised he was still available given his size speed and power prototypical EDGE with enough size to play every down .

A surprisingly reasonable pick of a player that could have gone earlier.

Initially looks like a better pick than our linebacker, have only watched vs. Georgia thus far. It looks like he spends most of his time as an upright pass rusher.

Two different mock drafts had us picking him in the 1st round. Sounds like he played a lot of the year with a fractured leg, and couldn't practice.

Nice! Will have to go over these once the draft is over.

Some people are just gunna bitch about every pick.

Thankfully they aren’t the ones in charge.

Draft picks are a crap shoot, always have been, always will be.

Top 10 picks fall short, late rounders blossom, happens EVERY year, for EVERY team.

This guy looks promising, and if he pans out, he fills a need.

I like the pick.

I’m a Tennessee grad/fan (you may have guessed that by my handle). In regards to Taylor, I have mixed feelings. He went through a number of coaching changes as the program has been a wreck for over a decade. While most of the highly touted recruits during this time ended up having attitude issues that never was the case with him. He was never a bad seed, seemed like a team player and played hurt (a lot). He always had talent and he would have flashes of greatness (he had 3 sacks against UGA his junior year). I will say that he would disappear quite a bit and not really take over most games. Now, the Vols did (and still do) have talent deficits so perhaps other teams were able to scheme for DT. At the end of the day, the kid has talent and upside so really hope he stays healthy and everything comes together for this young man. Also, pretty pumped to have another Vol on the team!

Will try not to hold it against him!

You guys don’t know and the Seahawks don’t know but I scouted Taylor before this draft pick.

Damn, I should be a GM!

That’s great and all but did you win your fantasy league and own your pals on Madden?
That’s what really matters! :sarcasm_off:
