The Hawks Would Win A Lot More Games IF . . . (you finish)

I'll start. The Hawks would win a lot more games if they played the whole game, rather than just the last half.

    Jason Myers is awful

The question I have, though, is what happened to this guy from last year? He was not only good, he was ProBowl.

Aros' Fearless Prediction Thread (Seahawks @ Rams)

Vegas says "Pick 'Em", meaning 3 points to LA for home field, 3 to us for superiority. Do I think that's how much better than the Lambs we are, just three lousy points? Heck no, we're waaaay better than that. Seattle 30 LA 21 Record-to-date: 7-5

Aros' Fearless Prediction Thread (Vikings @ Seahawks)

Tough game. Despite MNF record, Vikings are much tougher than they were last year on MNF. Still, I think we pull out a squeaker. Seahawks 24 Vikings 21 Record - to - date: 6 - 5

Aros' Fearless Prediction Thread (Seahawks @ Eagles)

My predictions this year, which I thought I put a lot of thought into, have been no better than a stinkin' coin toss (see record). Still, once again I'll go out on a limb. Rain or no, Russ carries the day with short quick passes. Hawks 24 Eagles 17 Record-to-date: 5 - 5

Aros' Fearless Prediction Thread (Seahawks @ 49ers)

Sorry, I'm as big a Homer as any of you, and also keenly aware of our great success on Thursday, Sunday and Monday night games. But it's not going to happen this week. SF will gamely try running the ball a bit, but quickly give it up and go almost exclusively to the pass, and predominately...

    Ruminations on the Bucs Game

Right on! And how about the other two "hotshot defensive giants" Reed and Clowney? Between the three of them they've barely touched the quarterback. We need to replace one or more of these guys with somebody that can get real pressure, or replace Flowers who is just pitiful. Until then, every...

Aros' Fearless Prediction Thread (Bucs @ Seahawks)

Hope it's not a close game, I hate close games and ugly games! But I think we'll prevail against the hapless Bucs one way or the other. Seattle 24 TB 20 Record-to-date: 4 - 4

Aros' Fearless Prediction Thread (Seahawks @ Falcons)

    Despite my miserable record-to-date, even I can figure this one out: Seahawks 20 Falcons 7 Record-to-date: 3 - 4

Aros' Fearless Prediction Thread (Ravens @ Seahawks)

Despite the rain, I think the game will hinge on Ziggy+Clowney+Reactivated Reed vs Jackson. Whoever wins this matchup wins the game. I see a close one but Hawks take it. Seattle 20 Baltimore 17 Record to date 3 - 3

Aros' Fearless Prediction Thread (Seahawks @ Browns)

Are the Niners that good, or are the Browns, despite the hype, still perennially awful? Don't know but I think our running game will crush it this week. Hawks 24 Browns 10 Record-to-date: a miserable 2 - 3

Aros' Fearless Prediction Thread (Rams @ Seahawks)

So far this year we have won three games, two of them just barely and all three against teams in the bottom quarter of current power rankings. I would soooo love to be wrong (and I've been wrong half the time so far this year) but I'm afraid we're gonna get spanked. Seattle 17 LA 31 RTD 2 - 2

Aros' Fearless Prediction Thread (Seahawks @ Cardinals)

Totally agree. Still, it's hard to see a loss to these guys, even with "Any Given Sunday". I won't guess about a score anymore, but I say it's a Seattle win. Record-to-date: 1 - 2

Aros' Fearless Prediction Thread (Saints @ Seahawks)

I too originally had this game down as a loss but now see a win. BUT . . . not because Brees is out, as I think Bridgewater is an excellent backup. Because somebody finally convinced Schotty that it's perfectly acceptable to throw a short pass now and then! If he continues to do this when teams...

Aros' Fearless Prediction Thread (Seahawks @ Steelers)

Steelers looked awful last week, but I think they'll toughen up for their home opener. Our guys are going to look better too but, sadly IMO, not good enough. Steelers 27, Seattle 17 Record: 1 - 0

When did you start following the Seahawks?

Actually started watching in 1977, missing the first year. And to be honest, I only started watching football because NHL games were no longer being televised. Still an NHL fan (excited about Seattle hockey) but Seahawker for life.

It's Time to Dispel the Myth

Even with Pete's mentality, I just can't understand why it is that, when our opponents are stacking the line in an obvious attempt to stop any run, why don't we just throw short passes until they back the hell up? Can anybody explain that to me?

    Aros...Fearless Prediction?

Arguably one of the easiest games on the schedule, IMO. Hawks take a commanding lead in the first half of 20 - 3, pound the ball the entire second half for a final score of 23 - 10.

My thought on the peril of a run first identity

It has always been my assumption that if the opposing defense "stacked the line" to make successful rushing more difficult, the remedy was to fire off some short-to-midrange passes until they had to back off. Yet we never seem to do that and I can't help but wonder why? Also, Carroll's logic...

Anybody know why our game is on CBS?

Happened once last year as well. Absolutely no clue why.
