That was the #1 DVOA Defense we just killed...

31 NFL teams are speaking LOUD and CLEAR w/ how they feel about Bevell, so you don't have to believe the folks on this board who don't like him: http://www.azcentral.com/story/sports/nfl/super-bowl/2015/01/29/seattle-seahawks-darrell-bevell-coaching-nfl/22550721/ "After the 2012 season, he...

That was the #1 DVOA Defense we just killed...

If Bevell is so great, how come he doesn't get interviews for HC positions? The league tells us every year exactly what they think about Bevell. If he was even perceived as an "average" OC, he would have been hired away like Gus or Dan long ago.

Is John Schnieder the best GM in NFL history?

Pete has made/signed off on every single pick, trade and cut since he was hired. He has final say on all football matters as defined by his contract. Pete has even said the reason he came to Seattle is because Paul Allen offered him "full control." This is in contrast to his first two NFL...

The key to creating HUGE quakes at the Clink

My friends and I have been calling it the Temple of Boom for a while, not sure where I first heard it though.

The key to creating HUGE quakes at the Clink

When the 12th man jumps up and down at the Temple of Boom, this is what happens: http://www.komonews.com/sports/12s-Danc ... 41351.html We shake the building (and scare everybody in the press boxes) every time we jump up and down so we should educate the 12s to make this part of the...

why do analysts act like Rodgers is 6'5"

Rodgers is not that much bigger than Wilson; He's 6'2" 225. (Wilson is 5"11, 217) Rodgers smaller stature flies in the face of the conventional "NFL prototype QB" being around 6'5", 240 (Newton, Luck) considering he's arguably the best QB on the planet...

Seahawks FO power structure still being confused

@mjwhitay All of the info in the OP is public and was released by the Seahawks themselves. @brimsalabim I know Wiki isn't always correct, is it wrong in this case though?

Seahawks FO power structure still being confused

Yesterday, on the Brock and Salk show, the conversation turned to the power structure breakdown in the Seahawks FO. I suggest you take a listen, because it was once again implied that John Schneider and Pete Carroll have equal power and somehow magically come to a consensus on every decision...

biggest media misconception about the hawks

Statements like this lead credence to my premise that the misinformation campaign is working. JS is certainly a member of Pete's staff. If by "team" you mean 50-50 partnership, that is the distortion. The fact is, Pete hired John and could have said no to every single player JS ever wanted to...

biggest media misconception about the hawks

Never said they weren't a team or didn't work well together. Why would Pete want someone on his staff that he didn't work well with? Never said Schneider doesn't have a great eye for talent. Pete seems to love and respect all the guys on his staff. As others have stated, all indications are...

biggest media misconception about the hawks

I have been biting my tongue about this issue for a really long time but since we won the SB it has gotten ridiculous. I'm getting really tired of the talking point that gets reiterated ad nauseam by national/local media that John Schnieder is pretty much solely responsible for the talent the...

Russell beat out Flynn BEFORE the KC preseason game?!

Did any one else notice that during the Charlie Rose interview, Russell said that Pete told him he was the "starter & franchise QB" before the 3rd preseason game against KC in 2012. That is simply incredible. We all thought that Wilson's performance in that game is what won him the job. If Pete...

Tate drawing the top CB the last few weeks?

Actually that's not always the case. For instance in Miami, Brian Hartline has more catches & yards but Mike Wallace is still defended like a #1. The question is, when did Golden become our #1 in the eyes of those who try to defend us? Last year, I distinctly remember Peterson shadowing Rice in...

Tate drawing the top CB the last few weeks?

I haven't watched the All 22 or studied every snap, but a few weeks back I noticed teams seemed to be defending Golden as our WR 1. Colts #1 CB Vontae Davis - Not sure who Davis was guarding in this one... Titans #1 CB Alterraun Verner - Seemed to be covering Tate the majority of snaps...

Danny O'Neil claims Coleman "beat out" Mike Rob

I don't feel like going back through the 3 hour podcast yesterday, that's why I asked if any of you caught the show. Please correct me if I didn't hear him right. My point is that Robinson is a proven commodity who has been playing at a high level in real NFL games for years. Does anybody here...

Danny O'Neil claims Coleman "beat out" Mike Rob

To clarify, Danny was definitely insinuating that Coleman outperformed Robinson on the field. He wasn't saying the Robinson got sick and Coleman won the job by default. This isn't the first time either, over the past few months every time the MRob topic has come up, Danny has made comments to...

Danny O'Neil claims Coleman "beat out" Mike Rob

On top of that, he said he hopes for no performance drop-off now that we have Robinson. You guys catch that yesterday? O'Neil is such a clown.
