    You guys that want to hold him out of GB and/or the Cards games are nuts. Geno is not beating those teams, even with their backup QB's. If we lose those games the season is over, and we have no first round pick.

    Pretty much. Geno played so bad against the Steelers and Saints that Pete had to come out and say Russell is the reason he's had a head coaching job for so long. Saying Geno balled out when Russell was hurt is kind of delusional.

    I say hell no, if Russell can make all the throws he needs to, he should be out there. The Packers are still a very talented team minus Rodgers. Geno has only had the offense humming against the league's worst team. We can't give away any more winnable games.

    Are you nuts? We just had to play 3 games without our franchise QB, who's just as important to us as Rodgers is for them. Very likely we win all 3 of those games with Russ. I'll take any games against backup QB's we can get for the rest of the year.

    Thank you, that is what my eyes were telling me. I would prefer they have some designs to just check it down and see if a guy can break one on some of these. But as the plays are designed, taking a sack was the best option on those.

    Also, from my memory most of his sacks have been happening on 3rd and longs. So better to take a sack then force something and cause a turnover.

    There was a huge drop off in QB play when Jimmy G went out. Jimmy was low-key killing the Hawks over the middle with those rhythm throws. But yes, the kid has physical ability, but he has a lot of refining and learning to do.
