Needs a 100 yards to beat Dickerson...how is this guy not in the mvp convo?
What were they thinking?Zero doubt in my mind he gets it. Zero. It will be the last dash of salt in the wound against the Giants.
It was clear he was going to Philly too. Now I have to put up with these a hole Iggles fans everywhere. Giants are morons. I hate them so much. Ruined our season and made the Iggles good. What were they thinking?
And how about OJ rushing for 2003 yards in only 14 games. That seems even more impressive than Dickerson's record.Usain Bolt 100 meter world record of 9.58 in 2009. So a guy with world class speed comes along in 2025 and they let him run it at 99 meters and "breaks" Bolt's record? No. Barkley came up one hundred yards short and no amount of yards in a 17th game would best Dickerson.
What is wrong with people with their participation trophy mentality tendencies these days?

As soon as this team hits a rough patch, this coach will lose this team. Don’t underestimate how much he pissed the players off not letting this player have his once in a lifetime time chance. Sure publicly the players will say the right things but deep down inside the resentment is building
There's something else to consider. Carries. Barkley has 34 fewer carries through 16 games than Dickerson had. He's averaging 5.8 yards, which is better than Dickerson's 5.6. Simpson was better with 6.0, but even he pales compared to Jim Brown, who averaged 6.4 on only 291 carries when he became the first running back to rush for 1,800 in a season. Barry Sanders average 6.1 when he ran for 2,000.I like how he gets the record with more games in a season, I think you
have to take all the records and separate them by how many games are
in that season.
OJ still has the record in my mind, he did his in a 14 game season with less
carries and a higher YPC.
Compare all the RBs with 2k by game and you'll get my point.
They are all great RBs but let's be fair on the records.
