I like Jalen if available
It will be Carter or Anderson. If the Cards trade down lower than #5 and QBs go 1-4, it will be Anderson. Otherwise, it will be Carter. The others are long shots, mostly depending on whether a top-3 QB unexpectedly drops to #5

What a whacky pre-draft. Feels like a bunch of guys with lots of questions. More than normal. I went Carter, but it really would not surprise me if they went QB. Levis scoring a 93 on his S2 was eye opening.

Pundits have mostly narrowed the #5 spot to three players (Anderson, Wilson, Carter), which does make sense... and these are probably the three most likely options. But the Hawks going their own way, and taking someone who hasn't been on the radar at #5, who is a great player but a awful value, seems pretty in character for this FO.

A few names to watch:

Nolan Smith, who is tough as nails and an athletic freak at edge or OLB. If he could get off blocks, he'd be a clear top 10 pick for me.
Gonzalez (CB) who fits the mold in Seattle a bit more than Witherspoon.
NBJ, who I have as the clear #1 WR in the class in a weaker WR class - and a position that the team has heavily valued in the past. Amazing short area quickness.
Kancey (DT) who outside of Carter and maybe Anderson, is probably the best pass rusher in the class.

JS said we don’t need to reach in this draft, but who believes him?

My latest guess on who Seattle has #1 on their board is Tyree Wilson. I've re-watched a few game and came away with a much better opinion. He's incredibly talented and plays with 100% effort. He'll benefit from his flexibility to move from a stand up edge to hand in the dirt defensive end.

IMO, he's the type of player that you build a defense around.

I admit that I've been warming up to him very recently. He's just got some physical traits that are so impressive it grabs the attention of your football imagination. Even after looking at tape of him and reading draft analyses of him, however, I still have no idea if he would make for a Pro-Bowl type player. It's so easy to forget how much of a crap shoot the draft really is.

What did I miss? What's an S2?
It measures how fast you process Information.

Brock Purdy had the highest score last year.

Bryce Young was the highest of the four. But Levis & Richardson also had high scores.

Apparently Stroud flunked the test lol. Which explains why he has terrible numbers when under pressure.

That’s a huge red flag for CJ Stroud.

Makes me second guess his ability to compete in the NFL.

Young is too small, but he got good eyes to see multiple targets, quick brain to process those information and able to execute.
Richardson and Levi are good size, both got good eyes to see multiple targets, quick brain to process those information, but inconsistent in execution.

For #5, I couldn't quite formula a picking order in case one or multiple of these four are available
Richardson, Levis, Carter, Anderson. None of them are sure fire can't miss, in fact, all had some negativities associated with them.

I forgot that the Texans will have 2 first rounders next year too. Knowing this and that won't be good this season, they are likely not BSing about NOT taking a QB this year. Why "settle" if you only liked Young and there will be better prospects like Caleb Williams and Drake Maye next year?

Yea, they are either taking Anderson or trading the pick. Whats that mean for the Seahawks? Well, if we do want a guy like Richardson, this is an ideal trade partner.

If we trade up, Richardson is the front runner. If we stay put, Carter is the front runner.

Flunk… interesting. High 80’s isn’t a flunk but it’s now elite either.

I wonder if Jamarcus Russell was in the 70’s?

So are you saying that he scored in the 80's?

I'm going off what Lance said on his radio show. Apparently it was low. Maybe not?

I heard between 87-89. There are other factors, but it’s not like he was excellent. For what it’s worth Richardson was 93.

Bryce supposedly scored a 98.
