How the Commanders finish could be critical if we don't pull off that week 18 victory over the Rams. I see they have the Saints today, who are starting something called "Jake Haener" under center. Anyone know if he's any good?

It's this guy btw:

Haener

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

A QB named Wilson just threw a TD for the Saints. Is Russ doing double time?

Notice Collingsworth has his ear hole taped up because of the noise in the Kingdome.

That guy was a WR who threw a TD on a trick play. I havn't heard of him though, so maybe.

Haener was garbage, so they brought in Spencer Rattler, who isn't doing well either, but the Saints are just about to get the ball down seven with two minutes to go. Hopefully they find a way to pull this off.

Just tuned into it. Saints just used their last timeout. They're at the Commanders 18 with 37 seconds to go.

EDIT: Inside the ten, fourth and 3 with 17 second to go.

1 yard line, 4 seconds to go!

EDIT: TOUCHDOWN SAINTS! Time expired, going for 2!

Dammit, Saints fail to convert. Commanders win.

Well, the fact that two of the Commanders last three wins are nearly losing to the Saints backups and needing a miracle hail mary against a Bears team that had an all-time gaffe from their idiot corner shows that this team is at least vulnerable.

Interesting play late too. On the Saints pass to the one-yard line on 4th and 3 in the final ten seconds, Bobby Wagner jumped on the receiver and laid there to waste several seconds. Saints scored anyway, but kinda cheap, although we would have all been laughing our asses off if he did that while playing for us.

Yepper. Saints were shaking the Rattle, and came very close...but ran out of juice trying for 2.
