Last year I made a 10/1 wager on $100 that Tiger Woods will not play a competitive round of golf beyond 2015. He's not going to take much more of this. What a train wreck. To put it in context, and I know the setup is vastly different, I shot 87 at Muirfield Village, and didn't putt very well. I see another "injury" and prolonged time off in the very near future, or retirement.
The question to me is, what does Tiger Woods do if he isn't playing golf? He's not going to get into commentary or anything. Does he wind up on some secluded island somewhere? You don't re-invent yourself if you're that iconic. I'm horrified of what the future would hold for him.
