Looks like we're going to have to get to the NFCCG to get a shot at the 49ers. I really want another chance to beat them at Candlestick, but that's a long ways away.

How about we worry about tomorrow before we start thinking about the next rounds.

Agreed. Plus it would just be incredibly sweet to have games that develop true, passionate division rivalries. That happens in the playoffs, not in the regular season usually. I live in the bay area, and while I wouldn't go to the game (I don't particularly care to get killed, and Candlestick is NOT a friendly place to go to watch a game), all of my best friends here are Niners fans. Win or lose, it'd be a hell of a game.

I've been to about ten games in candlestick and have had no probs, but I'm not much of a rabble rouser. However I am 6.6 and about 260.

I'm only 5'10 and 160, but I don't talk any shit. I had no problems inside the stadium, it was the drunk fans trying to leave Candlestick that were incredibly vicious.

You know you're drinking the Homeraid when you're looking past two road playoff games.

Just curious, Have 2 teams in the same division ever played for the conference?

January 1984 Hawks and Raiders. January 2011 Bear and Packers.

No kidding. First game being against a team that has been a thorn in our side, especially at FedEx. You could say the same about their coach. It's not like we don't have weak spots, and Shannyrat is probably one of the best in the league at exploiting that sort of thing. Haslett must be licking his chops after watching our lack of blitz pickup during the first half of the Rams game.

We're definitely good enough to beat these guys if we don't show up flat, but it won't be a cake walk. Run the ball, attack the middle of the field with short passes and send no-cover blitzes will be a big part of the Skins game plan against us. Russell should manage to beat it a few times but the goal is to slow our offense down and they have as good a chance as anyone of doing that.

Very glad our players aren't thinking two games down the road.
