Kearse and Baldwin are our starting WRs, and both are decent/good.. this post isnt a slam of them. But they are not real threats, and from a defensive point of view dont require much game planning.
To get to the playoffs we are going to need to get more out of the passing game.
My suggestion is that when we are in 2 WR sets we put in Richardson or perhaps Lockette out with Baldwin, then move Baldwin inside in 3 WR sets with Kearse and Richardson outside.
At this point, I know that Kearse is better than Richardson and Lockette. But I think we need a) to give the defense something more to worry about. Early in the season Lockette had a couple of deep balls and we need the threat of that. And b) given the opportunity to be an every down player, maybe one of those two will step up. I think at least its worth trying for a couple of games. Clearly we need to SOMETHING to try to spark something.
