Kearse and Baldwin are our starting WRs, and both are decent/good.. this post isnt a slam of them. But they are not real threats, and from a defensive point of view dont require much game planning.

To get to the playoffs we are going to need to get more out of the passing game.

My suggestion is that when we are in 2 WR sets we put in Richardson or perhaps Lockette out with Baldwin, then move Baldwin inside in 3 WR sets with Kearse and Richardson outside.

At this point, I know that Kearse is better than Richardson and Lockette. But I think we need a) to give the defense something more to worry about. Early in the season Lockette had a couple of deep balls and we need the threat of that. And b) given the opportunity to be an every down player, maybe one of those two will step up. I think at least its worth trying for a couple of games. Clearly we need to SOMETHING to try to spark something.

Every time we incorporate the T.E. into the passing game we get production.

I want us using the T.E. and Norwood, lets prep these guys and get plays at the same time.

Moeaki looked really good on that TD reception yesterday. I would like to see some more out of him in our passing game moving forward.

The line pass blocking would be a good start.

Moeaki is talented, but we have to be realistic. He didn't go through training camp with us, he's not going to have a high level of chemistry with RW til next year. If his injury trouble is behind him I hope they keep him beyond this season.

Norwood seems good but another seems another underneath kind of guy. We are seeing the value of Rice now. He only caught 3 passes a game but there was no doubt the defense had to account for him.

I don't know, but even as a run first team you have to be able to get something out of the passing game. And if next year we are going to spend 20+ million dollars on the QB you had better give him something to work with to get value for that money.
