And nationally from fans. They just showed their text of the day poll which was "Who would stay undefeated the longest?"

Seahawks received 41% of the votes. Broncos were next with 25%. I'm actually kind of surprised Broncos didn't get the most votes with how they've been dominating everyone. Good work 12's

That's because the Broncos have been dominating crap teams. We at least have the Carolina and Houston wins, both on the road, to get us some respect.

Broncos should win that poll. Their margin for error seems greater than ours because they can always score again if they fall behind.

Offense always has the advantage-which is one reason I LOVE defensive football.

Still. There is some anti-PEYTON sentiment out there. Nobody likes the prettiest girl unless they are her or have her.

That and Seattle's fans are so damn obsessed with media coverage that they are bombarding that poll.

Saw that poll up last week on NFL.com. We were way ahead at the early point in the week, and Denver started gaining by the end of the week, but not nearly enough (as you can see by the results)

Just went and looked at this weeks poll.

Who had the most impressive week 4 win?

Seahawks 38%
Lions 24%
Bills 16%
Chiefs 22%

On schedule I would have to vote Denver but only because they don't have any real good defenses on their schedule for a while. If we beat Indy I might change my tune though.

But isn't that what we did against HOU, ATL, WASH...

Well, yeah. Of course it is. I'm talking about perception, here. NOT who I believe is a better team. We are known as the best DEFENSE in the league not the best offense and polls are largely about collective consciousness and conventional wisdom.

Great Offense is what strikes more fear, in sport. Read Carl Jung. He wrote a book about it.

But the average fan (that participates in such polls) doesn't think things through as well as you. This is why I believe our great fanbase was texting their little hearts out, Denver fans too, but not as much.

Don't forget we embarrassed the Niners, who aren't nearly as bad as we think they are, but aren't nearly as good as they think they are, either. Really, we have three quality wins against good defenses notched on this season. Defenses don't get much harder than the ones we've already faced. Time to set the season on cruise control and impose our physical game on the likes of Indy.

I don't even know why you are arguing against a consensus vote and questioning why the vote isn't logical.

Go 'Hawks.

I thought I saw someone post this earlier but I can't find it now:
NFL Network is doing the Replay tomorrow (Tuesday, October 1st)

12:39 Pacific (3:30 PM Eastern)
NFL REPLAY "NFL Replay" - Seattle Seahawks vs. Houston Texans (2013 Week 4) - Seattle shut out Houton's offense in the second half and scored an unanswered 17 points to escape with the 23-20 win. Richard Sherman scored on a 58-yard interception return to force overtime, where Steve Hauschka kicked the 45-yard game-winning field goal.
