Sando is one of the smarter analysis out there (I call him an analysis and not a blogger, because hes leagues ahead of most.). So in essence, you would say .net shows how smart we can be when we see eye to eye with The Sand Man.

I agree, when I'm on the NFL page and I see the blog headings, I can always tell when one is a Sando article. It's always something obscure like "QBR rankings inside the pocket on one foot only"

I like hearing about our depth at cornerback. CBs can fetch a pretty good price on the open market if we have to offload one to make room.

Sure would be nice to recover that 2014 3rd rounder that we gave up in acquiring Harvin.

it will be interesting to see how KJ adjusts to the new position. Hopefully he can be just as sound and dominate as he was last year.

I am convinced that Thurmond and Lane could start for a few teams in the league.

I know that INT% fluctuates from year to year, but we have the luxury of having a few INT-throwing QBs from last year on our schedule. Brees led the league in INTs and had more options at WR/TE last year than he does this year. Andrew Luck was fourth and he was first in dropped INTs. In fact, adding dropped picks, Luck has the second-highest INT rate (5.9%) of any starter still actually starting for a team (Weeden had the highest adjusted INT rate of any starter still holding onto his job).

Freeman and Locker were also top-fifteen in adjusted INT rate (though Freeman did have a couple of outlier games to drive that rate up, to be fair). We also get Palmer (twice), Ponder, and Brees in the top twenty.

In other words, I am guessing that Seattle should lead the league in picks if they can hold onto 'em.

Lane has some work to do. He has the physical skills, but watching him in camp the other day I think the cerebral parts of the game might be challenging for him right now.

I expect Brees to have fewer picks this year. He was trying to do way too much last year to keep that team going without Sean Payton.
