I dont give a shit what your talking about. Realist...my ass! A realist would realize his team is in bigger need elsewhere than trading a contributing member of the team. A realist would realize Geno has done absolutely shit in his entire career. Not saying he cant change. Right? Yeah, he looked decent last night, but now teams will have to game plan for him and he won't look so great. Some Seahawks fans that want to "trade Russ" are going to find out how horrible it is to have a backup QB starting your games. As a 49ers fan, watching Nick Mullens, CJ Beathard and Brian Hoyer was absolutely nauseating.

He wasn’t a career backup that would be Jimmy G. Things didn’t pan out for him as a Jet but that was more between the ears and losing the locker room. His arm talent has never been an issue. Like Lockett said today Geno isn’t a drop off in terms of the passing game. Dude throws darts and I mean tight spiraled darts and this can be a solid situation for him if he wants to seize it

Both of those quarterbacks played in conference championship games and one played in a superbowl. I mean use another 2 quarterbacks as an analogy. And btw only Russ had the LOB. Dave Krieg threw for many many yards but had Dave Brown and Kenny Easley but collectively the LOB was probably the best secondary unit in league history in terms of impact.

Wilson is gone after this contract. So why not get something for him. Unless the hawks are willing to pay him 50 plus a year he isn’t staying. So trade him esp if smith does halfway decent.
