Rams alternate helmets

I thought there was some rule this year against alternatate helmets. Rams are wearing the blue /yellow old school colored helmets today, but were wearing the blue/gold on Monday.

They are definitely different helmets.

I guess the NFL cannot tell the difference between "Gold"(the color like the precious metal) and "yellow"?
