Noticed a lot more room for our wide outs, especially Doug Baldwin. The back field formation with Marshawn and Percy looked very very interesting. Kickoff returns were where I thought Percy would have his greatest impact. Proved me right. :mrgreen: Have fun gameplanning against that.

That is what proved my opinion in stone. Then he goes and makes plays. It may be Peyton ridiculous once Russ and Percy get their chemistry down. He romoved the over coverage while being wide open in the slot.

I have watched every professional game Percy Harvin has ever played. I pleaded for the Seahawks to go after him when he was rumoured to be on the market and I don't profess to know exactly how the Seahawks should use him.

It is the ultimate wild card situation.

That 3rd Down Catch was sure a lot of fun. In the Preview Thread I wrote up this week, I predicted that Harvin would only be in there maybe 12-15 plays or so ... but would make a WOW play somewhere along the line in this game. He made TWO (not one). Thanks for making a liar out of me Percy! LOL!

Seriously, you couldn't have scripted his debut any better IMO. Get him in there for a few plays ... get him used to the speed of live game action again ... have him Wow the crowd ... and get him out of there feeling good about himself and still in great physical shape. Handle it a bit like a Preseason game and focus on getting him ready for December 2nd and New Orleans. Beautiful.

Aw yes, you're right. Point being, that once he really gets up to speed (tonight was just a scooby snack) this is going to get fun.

Yup, to be fair though, Wilson would've got sacked if Okung didn't hold, the Harvin PI basically negated what would've been a 10 yard loss for holding, but instead we just lost a down.

Every time he's out there, you know the defense is even more on their toes.

The Percy factor didn't come into play on the TD, but on the long sideline route to Baldwin. Percy had a quick slant over the middle from the slot, the safety on that side slid over to help, leaving Baldwin one on one. That's the play you guys are thinking of.

You have to love how Harvin barely even played and still had a huge impact on the game. PI call, insane catch on 3rd and long, huge KR to set up last second TD, pooch kick by Vikes to 35 yard line to avoid Harvin. Harvin had basically 4 impact plays despite having just one reception and no carries.

Harvin was also in on the Lockette 27 yard catch. You know the defense wasn't paying very much attention to him on that play given who else was out there.

All those plays aside, I saw him out there blocking on a few plays, it seems like he's ALL IN! I love seeing wide recievers out there blocking too, no matter their size. Just makes the team better.

Holy hell, watch out nfl. The seahawks are coming for you.

Percy is going to shred defenses that don't plaster very well. I'm expecting alot of pass interference calls in the future. MNF game can't come soon enough.
