Can’t hang on to it in the end zone.
No need to force it there. Charbs was never picking up the first downHe should've gotten rid of it sooner, but I'd hardly call a chance ricochet explicitly his fault.
He was stuck in the the pocket so he couldn't just throw it away.Awful by Geno. Throw it away.
Throw it at the feet of charbonnet and live to fight another day. Don’t try and force it with your legs wrappedHe was stuck in the the pocket so he couldn't just throw it away.
Easier said then done as you are being tackled. At the end of the day he didn't throw it to the defense, they ended up with the ball off a deflectionThrow it at the feet of charbonnet and live to fight another day. Don’t try and force it with your legs wrapped
Grounding in the end zone is a safetyAwful by Geno. Throw it away.
Boom, baby. That's why I'm cool with him taking the shots. At some point, we need to hold that ball a little bit and pop the top off. You take the bad with the good.In hindsight, he should've darted it into the ground. But even with the pass located where it was... I mean, that was a good enough throw to get two hands on. Those throws usually don't end in the worst possible outcome, which is a fluke pop up.
That ended really badly, but I'd still rather he take that shot if he has it going forward. With our run game and line, we don't have those extra possessions to give up on.
Ideally the ball would've been out by then anyway, but that's the pain in the ass about this offense. It's too unbalanced and there's too much pressure on the pass game without anything to open it up.
It’s completely on Geno in that situation. He held on too long in the end zone. Not on Geno.

But Geno has to know in that situation you just throw it away and he just hung on to it.That's 20% max on Geno. Oline and playcall is the culprit. If they're gonna play in their own end zone every frigging game, Grubb needs to come up with plays that assume 5 whiffed blocks by the OL.
