Streaming anything online assumes you have an anti-virus and ad-blockers. Without ad-blockers you have to click through 3 links. Having uBlock Plus, Adblock Plus, or Bluhell will prevent it. Ghostery may or may not do the same. I have all 4 add-ons loaded. All of these add-ons are available on Firefox, Edge, and Chrome. I've used topstreams dot info for at least 4 years without any problem. I'm sorry you had an issue.

I am doing it on my smart TV and have not had issues YET.

It should have in-built protection. If not use a firestick or equivalent and manually protect it. Anything with half decent free blocking will stop the problems. Active anti-virus, blocking software, something to mask your IP, (either for your device or router), and you're good to go. Using a PC and connecting it to a tv through an HDMI lead should be the safest way. PCs are easiest to defend.

I have both. still got a nasty virus immediately. non stop pop ups.
