Through unfortunate circumstance, I was in a plane the first half but fortunately the Dallas Fort Worth airport the entire second. The first half I paid for internet access and listened on the radio. As we descended into hell (and up into space!) I comforted in the anonymity of 18F (window) and honestly dreaded walking out of the plane in my college blue Seahawks t-shirt.

20-3 at half.

Then came the glorious haven that is Dallas TGIF Fridays...right as I stepped off the plane! At first I stood outside the restaurant as their subpar food did not entice me. But I quickly barged in on this lady who seemed nice.

The comeback then began and along with it the rituals and loss of appetite and mind. I was in another place but in Fridays, an altered state. If there is surveillance footage, it will show a young man jumping wildly and pumping his fists yelling "cmon, hell yea, cmon cmon" when Sherman showed why he is unequivocally the best. Pure joy, sports ecstasy, human emotion in its rawest form.

I haver never been prouder to be a Seahawk fan in my life (this game is my #1 vic). It is so much more than just a game and I think most everyone on this board gets that. It is about resilience, determination, confidence, and execution. But most importantly, it is about never giving up, ever. And to all those that are currently facing some sort of adversity in their life (I know I am right now), I implore you to just keep on going. Convert that 4th and 3, score on defense, and never ever give up.

That's exactly what Jimmy V. said in his final speech. If you ever have the chance you should watch that speech. It is funny and poignant at the same time.
