I can realistically see the Hawks going Mykel Williams with that first pick. They've been largely sticking to consensus rankings for their first couple of picks or so these last three drafts. No longer is the fanbase doing a collective "who?" after their pick. Williams is ranked #16 currently and without looking it up it feels like EDGE is one of the more common positions JS targets in the first couple of picks.

It's been so long since Seattle has had a blue-chip pass rusher, I don't want to assume that that's what Mykel Williams is gonna be, but any edge player with a first-round grade has that upside. They need to start taking bites at the apple.

I like everything after the first 2 picks. Some people love Savaiinaea some people don't. I'm in the camp of don't. I just don't see it.

Williams is overrated. Has all the tools to be good but either often injured or lack of production. I'd rather he be someone else's problem even if he turns out to be good. I think we can do better at 18.

I think we need to get Lundt in the 3rd or 4th. Thomas would be a very good CB for this team. Ferguson I can do without but wouldn't hate it, would just prefer one of the top 4.

For some reason, I just have a strong feeling that Savaiinaea is a Schneider guy, he's not the best guard in the draft, but I wouldn't hate the pick.

I think Williams hasn't reached his full potential yet, especially considering how young he is. He's already a good run defender, and can be a TFL machine. And he has the traits to get better at pass rushing. Something I typically hear about Georgia DLinemen, is that they're rotated a lot, which means that one player isn't gonna get a bunch of stats, that's why Jalon Carter didn't have much production in college. I'd take Williams for the upside.
