I'm just sitting here looking at our schedule. Particularly at weeks 10-14. Going to be really interesting to see what (if any) impact Freeman has on sparking that Viking offense. His athleticism alone could make for an interesting complement to AP's run game.

That said, when you guys look at our schedule, knowing that we come out of the week 12 bye and the division as well as conference winner will likely be decided in those two weeks... are you worried, excited or unmoved?

Before anybody posts about not looking past this week, spare us. We all know everything is a hypothetical until it comes to pass.

edit: I should add that I am in the excited camp. While some have looked at our remaining schedule and said that it's easier, I actually think we'll see some tougher opponents later in the season. Luckily we're the 2013 Seahawks and that doesn't bother me at all.

Don't look past this week .... sorry, didn't spare you. j/k [I see you edited that comment out, so the comedic value is lost ... dang it!]

I think Freeman has a chance to provide a spark to the Vikings and make them better balanced. They are not a bad team if their QB play was better. The problem is Freeman had a similar club in the Bucs (though not the support of his HC). Still, he has no excuses if it doesn't work for him in Minny.

By the time the team plays the Saints, it should be clear if both are top of the conference type teams. The NFC North and South picture will be much clearer, along with the NFC East. Also, the 9ers should still be breathing down the team's back battling for the division. That game is no doubt a big one.

The NY Giants may look bad now, but by the time the Seahawks play them, I expect they will be performing much better than they are right now. It will be one of those used to be dreaded 10:00 a.m. games.

Mood - Excited.
